NVVN entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MACLEC Technical Project Laboratory Pvt Ltd. today, for the purpose of establishing small-scale hydro projects utilizing surface hydrokinetic turbines.

MACLEC has pioneered customisable and scalable surface hydrokinetic turbines of capacity 0.5 kW to 500 kW, which are suitable for deployment in any running water system, including irrigation canals, rivers and rivulets to generate base load hydro power in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Through this MoU, NVVN has embarked on a new business vertical of distributed hydro power generation, which will serve as an additional revenue stream for the company.
